Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn spotted during their vacation, two have been down in the Bahamas, on Sunday on their getaway. The pair were photographed as they cooled off in aqua blue water and looked as in love as ever.
After their love fest, TS an JA got back on dry land and into their Airstream trailer, one they’re reportedly borrowing from Lenny Kravitz.
Taylor and Joe often are not spotted together, even though they have been an item since 2016, so it was rare to see them out on vacation. Joe explained to Elle about his relationship in April “It’s not really [because I] want to be guarded and private, it’s more a response to something else,” “We live in a culture that is so increasingly intrusive. The more you give and frankly, even if you don’t give it, something will be taken.”
Taylor shared the same sentiment while speaking to Paul McCartney for their Nov. 2020 Rolling Stone cover about her song, “Peace”, which appears on her Grammy-winning Folklore album. “’Peace’ is actually more rooted in my personal life. I know you have done a really excellent job of this in your personal life: carving out a human life within a public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you’ve met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living,” she said.
“I think that in knowing [Joe] and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real-life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids,” Taylor added. “Whether that’s deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture — the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it’s really just trying to find bits of normalcy,” she continued. “That’s what that song ‘Peace’ is talking about.”
Taylor was recently in NYC at Tribeca, scheduled for an event at the film festival where she discussed her 10-minute visual offering of “All Too Well”, her directed short film with Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink in the lead roles.
