Meghan Markle was spotted giving words of reassurance to Prince Harry during the thanksgiving service for his grandmother’s 70-year reign, according to a lip reader. It was four day celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee where The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kept a low profile following a public feud with the royal family since they stepped down from their roles in 2020. During the 50-minute long thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral, London was the only time the couple were seen in public alongside the rest of the Royal Family.

A lip reader claims to have spotted Meghan reassuring Harry by saying: “Yeah, will be fine.” during the ceremony. It is unclear what Harry had said before that as they had a conversation in the second row – just metres away from his older brother, Prince William, Kate Middleton and his father Prince Charles, who was sitting with his wife Camilla.

As the pair have had a frosty relationship since the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in March 2021, it is believed that arrangements were made to keep the royal brothers, Harry and William seated apart during the ceremony to prevent them from coming face-to-face.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward explained to Fabulous: “The excuse was that as they are no longer working members, they were to take a literal back seat. “The reality is the Palace was determined there would be no photographs that might reveal any animosity between the brothers. Becoming a ‘second-row royal’ is difficult for Harry to swallow.”

The couple didn’t stay for the entire Jubilee weekend as they retreated back to their California mansion as the pageant was kicking off on June 5, an insider claims. They explained: “There was no fanfare, they just went. They didn’t stick around for the Platinum Jubilee pageant.”

It is believed they were taken from Frogmore Cottage to Farnborough Airport for 1.30pm take-off on a private plane.

They were later spotted at an airport in Santa Barbara as airport staff unloaded their luggage which included a highchair and wooden swing.
